SPORTFISHING AT ITS FINEST
Billfish Sportfishing offers two options to maximize your day on the water whether you’re seeking the inshore or offshore species. For groups up to six anglers, ‘BILLFISH Sportfishing’ offers a Wayne Beal custom, all fiberglass sportfishing vessel. It is powered by a 425 H.P. Caterpillar Diesel which gives a 20 knot cruising speed that will take your party to the inshore, offshore, or canyon fishing grounds with speed and comfort. This vessel features the latest in electronics including two VHF radios, a Furuno 24 mile radar, Raymarine E-120 chartplotter, a Dytec sea water temperature gauge, and an inverter. Below decks, there is a full-sized Vee-berth along with an inclosed head. For safety, all Coast Guard required equipment along with a 406 EPIRB and an eight man SOLAS life raft are also onboard.
A Dusky 233 center console is also available for 1- 3 person charters on the near coastal waters, especially the fertile fishing areas found on and around the Watch Hill Reefs and Block Island ledges. This fishing machine is powered by a 225 H.P Mercury Salt Water Series outboard that can venture into the shallows where the big gamefish including striped bass, blues, fluke, scup, and bonito are to be found. This Dusky is a ruggedly constructed, 30+ knot boat that has the state of the art electronics including a 3210 Garmin chartplotter, HD RADAR with an XM/Sirius weather forecast capability, KVH fluxgate compass, two VHF radios, and all mandated USCG safety equipment..

CAPTAIN BILL BROWN
 Captain Bill Brown holds a 100 Ton Masters License and has fished from the Gulf of Maine down into the Caribbean - including Cuba. His customers aboard the "BILLFISH" have won or placed in numerous big game fishing tournaments throughout the Northeast.

His clients presently have held/hold six State Gamefish Records, including a 506 pound Thresher Shark that won the 2003 Oak Bluffs (MV) Monster Shark Tournament and set a new MA State Record for that species. Bill is an acknowledged expert for both inshore and, especially, offshore angling where his ability to capture big sharks is legendary.

Captain Bill Brown is also a well known credentialed, award winning outdoor writer and seminar speaker whose Power Point presentations and hands-on demonstrations provide an overview of 'How To' in regards to tackle and techniques for both the inshore and offshore species of gamefish found swimming in Southern New England's regional waters. He is has been featured on local, regional, and national TV shows including NESN, VERSUS, and ESPN's 'Madfin' series. Bill is really a fun guy to go fishing with!

TACKLE
Both vessels are equipped with PENN rods and reels, exclusively. The tackle ranges from light jiggings to 130-lb. Class rods and reels to maximize the fish catching ability and make your day on the water that much more enjoyable. Bill has pioneered the use of fly tackle in the pursuit of sharks and tuna on the offshore grounds. Bill is also a member of both AFTCO and Mustad's Pro Staff Programs.
