SPORTFISHING AT ITS FINEST The "BILLFISH" is a 34’ Crusader, an all fiberglass sport-fishing vessel. It is powered by a 375 H.P. Cat diesel which gives a 20 knot cruising speed that will take your party to the inshore, offshore , or canyon fishing grounds with speed and safety. The vessel features the latest in electronics, including three Standard Horizon radios, Northstar 800 LORAN, a 951XD G.P.S., 406 EPIRB, Raytheon 24 mile radar, 8010 color fishfinder, and sea water temperature gauges. Below decks there are four full-sized Vee-berths and an enclosed head. Coast Guard required safety equipment along with an eight man life raft on board. CAPTAIN BILL BROWN Capt. Bill Brown has fished from the Gulf of Maine to Havana, Cuba, and has over 25 years of saltwater charter experience holding a 100 Ton Master Mariner's License. He has been featured on regional and national outdoor T.V. shows, is a featured speaker at sportsmen’s shows, and is a well known outdoor writer. His clients hold five Rhode Island and one MA State Game Fish Record, and have won, or placed, in a multitude of both inshore and offshore tournaments, including First Place in the 2003 Oak Bluffs Monster Shark Tournament. He is really a fun guy to go fishing with! TACKLE The BILLFISH is equipped with PENN rods and reels, exclusively. The tackle ranges from light jiggings to 130-lb. Class rods and reels to maximize the fish catching ability and make your day on the water that much more enjoyable. Bill has pioneered the use of fly tackle in the pursuit of sharks and tuna on the offshore grounds. Bill is also a member of Mustad's PRO STAFF PROGRAM.
